St Ann’s Football Club was established in 2004 and is the first St Ann’s and Sneinton based affiliated children’s football club. It began as a provider-led football scheme run by the St Ann’s and Sneinton EIP (Education Partnership) with support from local volunteers, community representatives and the local Football Association.
Commitment from players was difficult to begin with, however with commitment and support from the local community we now have 4 junior boys teams and a junior girls team.
St Ann’s and Sneinton EIP’s role has been to encourage, nurture and develop involvement in the club by local children and adults to allow it to evolve into a community-led club. This has required 4 years of continual support.
